Our story
About Car-Tech Automotive
Car-Tech Automotive is a Sacramento auto repair shop built on a simple idea: tell customers exactly what's wrong, show them the parts, and charge a fair price to fix it.
Owner Ray has built a loyal following of drivers who bring in everything from aging trucks to Mercedes sedans. He diagnoses issues by listening to the car itself, whether that's a brake pedal, an engine under load, or a suspension that's gone creaky, and walks customers through the fix before any work begins.
We don't upsell and we don't talk down to anyone who walks through the door. Customers keep coming back, and keep sending their friends and family, because the work holds up and the price stays honest.
- Owner Ray explains every repair up front
- Fair, reasonable pricing
- Works on all makes and models
- No pressure, no talking down to customers
What customers say
“Got my 2002 Dodge Dakota truck repaired here. It started majorly over heating the night before, and I asked them to take a look at some other issues too. They took care of it all for a reasonable price. I was expecting it to be a lot more after I got taken for a ride by Midas last time I took the truck in. I'm so glad I went here and definitely recommend them. They communicated well and the work was done within a week.”
“These guys are amazing. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if they could do a perfect engine swap in 30 minutes, that's how good they are. Ray, the owner, is top notch. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely use again, but they fixed my car so well, I may never need to go back! Thanks Ray!”
“A very fair shop! We bring all of our cars there for all of the various car reasons. And they always take care of it quickly and also very economically.”
